The TV channel “Espresso” can get a new co-owner in the near future. This information was announced to the “Ukrayinska Pravda” by the MP from the “People’s Front” faction and the founder of the channel Mykola Knyazhytsky.

Mr. Knyazhytsky points out in his commentary that there are actually no concluded contracts of sale, but the negotiations are still underway, and nobody makes any bones about it.

The sources of the “Ukrayinska Pravda” at the “People’s Front” fraction clarified that it was about selling a share of the TV channel. Thus, Mr. Knyazhytsky intends to remain a junior partner in the “Espresso” project to go on managing the channel. However, the edition does not specify who will be the new investor of “Espresso”.

The information about plans to sell the TV channel “Espresso” repeatedly appeared in the media before. In particular, in his interview to the Mediasat, Mykola Knyazhitsky already announced similar information.

“In fact, “Espresso” has reached breakeven. Yes, there is no money for a rapid and explosive development. The channel still sits in my apartment, and can not afford a new office. But we can sell it now at a significant profit. Such offers are regularly coming, and we are thinking them over. If we sell it, we will not only return the investment, but also earn good money”, as Mr. Knyazhytsky told to the Mediasat’s reporter.

Let us recall that on February 1, the TV channel “Espresso” changes its technical parameters of broadcasting via the satellite Astra-4A (4.8°E).
