One of the most popular social networks developed its own application that allows watching video on Smart TV-sets.
The “OK Video” app allows its users with Smart TV-sets to watch any video, both posted by the social network’s users, and provided by content producers. In addition, this application ensures broadcasting of TV channels and online-conferences arranged in the social network “Odnoklassniki”.
The application allows users to control viewing by means of a standard functional set, including the options like changing video quality, rewinding and shifting to the next video. In the continuous display mode the shift will be automatic. Using application does not suppose any payments and advertising.
According to the “Odnoklassniki”’s press office, online users watch over 300 million various videos daily. Using application will facilitate and make more convenient searching and viewing videos. On the other hand, the application will assist in increasing number of users, as it does not require any registration, and the only requirement is the availability of a Smart TV-set.
Just in the near future, the “OK Video” app will make available TV channels like “360 Podmoskovie” (360 Near Moscow), “Dozhd” (Rain), “Mir” (World), RBC, LifeNews.
