Sistema JSFC intends to sell TV channels owned by Stream Holding to Content Union media group better known under the Club100 brand. Vedomosti wrote this with reference to their own informers.
The Stream holding includes the following TV channels: Hunting and Fishing, Usadba, Drive, Zdorovoe TV, Retro, Pets, Psikhology21, Questions and Answers, Fishing & Hunting (Hunting and Fishing TV channel’s international version). The overall audience of these TV channels is 12 million households.
As for the Club 100, the company is engaged in production and distribution of such thematic TV channels: Avto24, For Children, Evrokino, Russian Illusion, Illusion+ and Zoopark. Their total audience is 25 million viewers.
The company’s representatives refused to comment this agreement, however, according to unnamed Vedomosti informers, terms of the transaction have been agreed, and its amount will be about a billion of RUR.
“If the transaction goes through, the Stream and Club100 TV channels will be a good complements for each other” – said Anatoly Ziablitsky, the chairman of the directors board of Club100.
“Stream” TV channels are the last media asset owned by Sistema JSFC.
