Over the next 5 years Belarus will pay a special attention to the development of mobile TV.

This position was stated by Alexander Kurilovich, the Deputy Head of the Division for Information Electronic Media Control within the Ministry of Information, as BELTA informs.
He stresses that it is actually available a large number of tablets to customers, as well as an increase of diagonals of smartphones is observed. In this context, he described mobile TV as a prospect for developing in the coming 5 years. In particular, he marks the choice of TV viewers by content rather than by TV channels. It is this perspective to be worked towards hard by Miniform of Belarus, as Kurilovich emphasises.
As for the recent transition to the up-to-date digital from the analog TV, Kurilovich reports that the procedure was satisfactory and smooth, without any complaints from the residents addressed to the entity, and all the issues were settled by the local authorities.
Kurilovich also stresses that Belorussians were provided with a wide range of devices, and consulted by experts regarding the choice of equipment.
According to him, the Miniform monitored certain regions from time to time. While shutting off transmitters they even had to visit certain regions, holding meetings of executive committees, but the process was very peaceful everywhere.
