On August 15, the TV channel Ani starts its full-range broadcasting by satellite ABS-2 (75°E).
The channels programs are focused on children’s audience (mostly girls aged 6-12), and its broadcasting grid is formed by the best world animated content. The project is scheduled to launch by the 0+Media Company.
Along with satellite broadcasting, the channel will be also relayed within the cable networks throughout Russia.
The main goal of the channel is to show the best animated and feature length movies of foreign production to the Russian young audience, as stated in the press release, a copy of which is available to Mediasat.
It is also pointed out that a sufficient content to be broadcasted by Ani is suitable for parents and children’s shared viewing. The slogan of the new channel sounds like Ani is your own world.
It is expected that just this year there will be broadcasted near seven hundred hours of unique animated content, including such famous cartoons as The Smurfs, Angry birds, Dragon Hunters and many others.
The distribution of TV channel Ani will be carried out by the Signal Media Company.
