The service created thematic channels for children and fans of Ukrainian movies.
The online cinema of licensed video content MEGOGO increased the number of its interactive TV channels. The thematic content of the first two channels is represented by movies produced in Ukraine, and the content of another two channels is fully focused on children.
MEGOGO’s users can watch the new TV channels upon subscription. In general, the service has already run 21 TV channel.
The [M] KІNO UA and [M] SERІAL UA, as it follows from their titles, present recent and “Soviet” movies and serials filmed by the studios like “Oleksandr Dovzhenko”, “Kievnauchfilm”, “Kievtelefilm”, “FILM.UA” and others.
The reason for launching TV channels with content consisting of movies and serials produced in Ukraine was the idea to promote Ukrainian cinematography in the world. First, the channels [M] KІNO UA and [M] SERІAL UA will be available to the international audience in 12 countries, including Moldova, Belarus, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and others. Next year, the release of new TV channels is scheduled in Germany, the United States, Canada, Brazil and many other countries.
According to Ivan Shestakov, MEGOGO Marketing Director, the Ukrainian movies and serials are enough for running more than one, namely two new TV channels. He also emphasizes an opportunity of promoting Ukrainian content in other countries of the world and invites Ukrainian authors and film studios to join this idea.
The service is also concerned about its young TV viewers, for whom it launched channels [M] MULTSERIAL and [M] TEREMOK.
The content of the first channel is represented by modern educational and entertaining cartoons of Ukrainian and international production, as well as animated serials designed by the Soviet animation studios. The second channel [M] TEREMOK offers to its young viewers the cartoons produced only in the Soviet period.
We shall recall that MEGOGO previously launched a number of thematic interactive channels, and also declared the funding of the new season of the cartoon serial “The Cossacks”.
