MEGOGO launches own TV channels

The video service MEGOGO expands the range of provided services by launching its thematic interactive TV channels for users. This is stated in the press release, a copy of which is available to Mediasat.

These interactive channels effectively duplicate the usual TV channels, with the only difference of allowing users to view the content right now, as they are already available in the library of the video service MEGOGO.
In fact, these are play lists consisting of VOD-content, aimed mainly at facilitating the search and selection of content to users. In addition, there will be virtually no advertising on the channels, what makes watching movies more comfortable, as Ivan Shestakov, the Marketing Director of MEGOGO, specifies.
For the time being, the users of online movie theater MEGOGO have eight interactive channels available in HD-standard and one in 3D-format:

• [М] Dinamika HD (Action movies),
• [M] Kinohit HD (Blockbuster movies),
• [М] Istoria HD (History movies),
• [М] Drama HD (Dramatic movies),
• [М] Uzhasy HD (Horror movies),
• [М] Romantika HD (Romantic movies),
• [М] 3D HD.

The first to enjoy the service were the owners of Smart TV-sets LG, as well as web-service users. In the future, the access to the service will be obtained by the owners of tablets and Smartphones. A little later the interactive channels MEGOGO can be watched by the owners of other Smart TV brands.
MEGOGO points out that it is not going to rest on its laurels. As communicated to the Mediasat’s reporter, in the nearest future it is expected to launch another five interactive channels, including the ones will children’s, serials’ and information content.
It is worth noting that an additional fee to subscribers for accessing interactive channels will not be charged, and they are available on the platform MEGOGO TV along with the national TV channels.
