The Krasnaya Linia (Red Line) started full broadcasting by satellite ABS 2 (75.0°E).

The TV channel, established by the Communist Party of Russia (KPRF), started its permanent broadcasting by satellite ABS 2 (75.0°E).
The channel broadcasts programs (most of which are of own production), which inform the audience about political, economic, social and other events. Besides, the TV channel’s content consists of documentaries, talk shows, reports and interviews.
We shall recall that the KPRF first established an Internet TV channel covering the socio-political events in Russia, as well as the party’s news. In April 2014, Dmitry Novikov, the Vice-chairman of the Communist Party, stated that the channel would start cable and satellite broadcasting in the nearest future. In October of the same year, the Roskomnadzor issued to the Krasnaya Linia a general satellite broadcasting licence. But the KPRF also contemplates to spread the TV channels’ signal in cable television networks of the Russian Federation as well.
