The international version of the TV channel 1+1 will be incorporated into the package of the Bell Fibe TV, the largest TV operator in Canada, along with other Ukrainian TV channels. This information was made public by the TV channel’s press office.
Now, over 1.2 million subscribers can watch the 1+1 International in the Bell Fibe TV’s package of Ukrainian TV channels. Signing the contract with the telecommunications company Bell Canada was one of the strategic priorities of the channel’s management.
According to Vladislav Savchenko, the General Producer of TV channel, broadcasting in Canada opens for the 1+1 International great opportunities, as the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada is one of the largest, and near 4% of this country’s residents are of Ukrainian descent. On the other hand, broadcasting in the North America and Canada brings more income, compared with European countries.
The presence in the Canadian TV broadcasting of one of the largest Ukrainian TV channels will allow audience to receive information directly form the parties involved in the events, and will make contemporary Ukraine more accessible and understandable.
The TV channel is incorporated into the Bell Fibe TV’s package offer under number 2892. To search it, it is just enough to enter the above number or channel’s name.
In addition, the TV channel 1+1 International is also available in the package offers of local IP operators. The authorization for broadcasting in Canada was received by the TV channel in December 2014.
