There were terminated activities of the second most popular torrent resource in the world, which operated at the instigation of Ukrainians, as ITC.ua reports.

So, the Ukrainian Cyber Police in cooperation with the US and UK law enforcement authorities have recently executed two joint international operations, which resulted in eliminating one of the most famous torrent resources.
“We found out that the organizers of the illegal business were Ukrainians, who developed a resource focused on the English-speaking clients. We managed identifying fully all the participants in that illegal business, and bringing them to justice”, as stated by Serhiy Kropyva, Deputy Head of the Division of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
For their prompt and well coordinated work, the Ukrainian police officers received gratitude from Donald Townsend, First Secretary of the US Embassy.
“We greatly appreciate the cyber police officers’ recent work on countering pirate sites, which spread both Ukrainian and US content. We are looking forward to further progress in cooperation with the Ukrainian police. I hope that the results of this cooperation will allow for developing business and investment environment in Ukraine”, as he pointed out.
As reported before, Poland arrested Artem Vaulin, the owner of the second most famous torrent tracker in the world KickassTorrents.
