The Internet Company “Yandex” is about to start broadcasting content of some major Russian TV channels and film companies.
The “Yandex” Company plans to arrange demo-broadcasts on its online resources of video content of the channels “Channel One” and “NTV”, as well as film studios “Mosfilm”, “Sreda”, Amedia, Bazelevs, etc. This is featured by the newspaper “Kommersant”.
At the first stage, “Yandex” will start content broadcasts on its main page, TV guide and “Film Search” services. To this end, a special button “TV-online” has already been integrated. As an experiment, “Yandeks.TV Guide” has already put the players of TV channels with their advertising.
The search company also intends to test various advertising formats in order to opt for the most ideal one, which gains the loyalty of online audience.
According to the Mediascope, in January of present year, the online audience of all Yandex projects amounted to 52.7 million Russians in the age category from 12 to 64 years.
