NTV-Plus won the tender for creating, promoting and distributing TV channels of the Kontinental Hockey League, as Lenta.ru reports, referring to the KHL web portal.
According to the release, a contract with NTV-Plus has to be signed right for 5 years. This contract will enable the League to reduce its costs by 30%, and significantly improve the quality of TV production of the league’s channels.
By new season, all the channels will have a distinct design. This will not only make a visually more pleasant look, but also will add a picture more informational content. Throughout the match day, TV presenters and guests in studio will be engaged in detailed discussing matches, analyzing them, broadcasting online from hockey rinks, talking with players, managers and coaches.
The next League Championship 2015-2016 will be inaugurated just on August 24 by SKA St. Petersburg vs CSKA Moscow.
It is worth pointing out that KHL has already collaborated with NTV-Plus in creating the League’s channels. They have been worked together on hockey channels in SD format, as well as in high definition (HD) format since 2009, the moment of establishing the League.
