The TV channel starts broadcasting on September 1.
The Discovery Networks TV Group announced an exclusive launch of the DTX channel within the Volia operator’s network, the programs of which will be available to watch as of September 1 this year.
The DTX will replace the TV channel Discovery World both in Ukraine and Russia.
The programs of this new broadcaster are focused on male audience of 18-45 years, and will report about cars, motorcycles, in short, everything with engine, as well as about sports and its varieties, men’s culinary preferences and entertainment. In the DTX’s airtime one may watch broadcasts of the TV channel Eurosport, i.e. coverages from car racing, rally and others.
We shall recall that the Discovery Communications is actually the sole holder of the French Eurosport’s stocks.
The cooperation between DTX and the Ukrainian provider Volia will continue until the end of 2015. As of next January the TV channel will be available in the pay-TV networks of other Ukrainian operators.
