TRC Ukraine will pursue in cort the violators for football TV rights

The TV Company reminds about its unique broadcasting rights to the UEFA matches.
The of the TRC Ukraine announced in its public letter, that it was the sole owner of all rights to the TV and Internet broadcasts of football matches of the Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

We shall recall that the Media Group Ukraine has exclusive rights to show matches in 2015-2018.
The appeal also states that the TRC Ukraine prohibits illegal TV and Internet broadcasts, containing episodes of these football matches. It is also forbidden to distribute records of events like audio and video transmissions in the programs and newscasts of other broadcasters.
In case of anyone’s misuse of football broadcasts or their episodes, belonging to TRC Ukraine, the TV Company will have to apply to court or other competent authority to protect its exclusive rights.
As Mediasat reported before, Alexander Denisov, Director of the sports channels, can see only positive aspects in the monetization of football broadcasts.
