The Ministry of Information Policy has acquired another TV and Radio Company.

The Ukrainian state-owned Foreign Broadcasting Channel UTR changed its name and logo. It is actually called UATV, as reported by Telekritika.
According to Mikhail Shmatov, the CEO at the TV channel, the broadcaster will use logo UA on air, as the UATV one is patented just like another trademark of the company.
The amendments to the broadcasting licence were introduced by the National Broadcasting Council during its today’s meeting. The regulatory authority also registered the licence changes concerning the owner of the TV and Radio Company. From now the UTR is owned by the Ministry of Information Policy.
Mikhail Shmatov also pointed out that the content concept of UATV is under refinement and would be presented in the nearest future.
