The Ukrainian market of online cinemas welcomes one more legitimate player.

The web site FS.ua, locked two years ago for hosting pirate content, is restarted just with legal movies, as reported by “Ain.ua” referring to the resource’s management (owns a Ukrainian domain) and the Association on Management of Audiovisual Rights “Arma-Ukraine”.
For the time being the resource’s users can watch over a thousand licensed movies, including the top released ones like “The Hunger Games”, “Mad Max”, “The Hobbits adventures” and others.
According to the edition, the initiative to restart once pirate resource with new licensed movies was put forward by the Association itself, which also provided the copyright for audiovisual items. But the owners of FS.to were the first who supported that idea by providing a domain and platform.
The resource FS.ua, at the request of “Arma-Ukraine” became the pioneer in that undertaking, since its audience is interested in watching movies and it was not previously present in the list of copyright violators. The Association also intends to make other well-known web sites join this initiative, for which purpose there have been already created platforms and required operation environment.
The initiative aimed at eliminating the online piracy problem without locking web sites and removing content, was reported about by Mediasat before.
