Dune HD, the world-known manufacturer of media devices, introduced new media player Dune HD Solo Lite to the market.

The company’s representatives told to Mediasat correspondent that Dune HD Solo Lite is a lightweight version of the flagship model Dune HD Solo 4K which was presented at the end of 2015.

It has a powerful processor Sigma SMP8758 on the board, supports the high-definition format Ultra HD, the video codec HEVC (H.265), 3D and Full HD format. This set-top box also includes digital IPTV television support. In addition, Dune HD Solo Lite can play FLAC (CUE), APE, ALAC and the SACD audio formats which certainly will appeal to real music lovers and audiophiles.

Media player receives content via Ethernet gigabit port or wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Signal transmission to a TV is made via HDMI. It is also equipped with two USB-ports to connect external hard drives or other devices.

As a reminder, Dune HD manufactures media devices based on the Sigma Designs chipset since 2014. Then, this company was the first in the world to put on the market set-top boxes with video codec HEVC (H.265) support.
