The pirate online resource FS.TO, previously shut down by the Cyber Police, resumed its operation as FS.LIFE. This is reported by the AIN.UA edition, referring to the message posted in the informal group of that service in the social network Vkontakte.
The edition remarks, however, that this group has no direct relevance to the administration of the original site. The only proof of restart is “the fact of supporting old user accounts”.
It is pointed out that the graphic design of the FS.LIFE portal is identical to the FS.TO’s one. As of posting this news, there was no advertising on the portal. At the same time, the portal continues being updated and new content has been uploaded to it, starting from March 30. The updates of some releases are of this date.
Let us recall that on 15 November 2016, the officers of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine reported on banning the pirate online cinema FS (resources FS.TO, BRB.TO, FS.UA and CXZ.TO). The next day, the same informal group in the social network Vkontakte informed that the portal would resume its operation due to the servers on the Tonga Island.
At a later date, the Head of the MIA Cyber Police Department Sergey Demedyuk stated that the reason for closing FS.TO was tax evasion, and not piracy.
