Passengers of Autolux carrier have got the opportunity to receive wireless access to the Internet by Intertelecom during their trip.
3G-operator Intertelecom is the technical partner of Autolux in the project of connecting a public transport to the Internet. For now, it has provided free Wi-Fi for 30 passenger buses of the carrier. This is stated by Intertelecom.
“Autolux company is one of the leaders on the Ukrainian market of passenger transportation. It was important for us to provide Ukrainians with continuous access to online services in travel, and thanking to the widest 3G-network coverage in Ukraine at all of the major long-distance routes, we could successfully implement this initiative – said Boris Akulov, the CEO of Intertelecom. – Especially for this project, the company’s specialists have created a unique solution, which proved to be successful in the conditions of long-distance moving on high-speed tracks.”
In addition to cooperation with the largest Ukrainian carrier, Intertelecom is also installing the equipment providing free access to the internet in city public transport. Today, residents of 18 regions of Ukraine can connect to free Wi-Fi in more than 760 vehicles.
