A document on implementing the next-generation mobile communication will be soon filed to the Government.
The NCCIR approved the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on constructing the mobile cellular communication networks of the 4th generation.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, the document was drawn up following the Presidential Edict on the relevant requirements for the 4G introduction. It comprises a list of actions, the implementation of which will provide for all the market players equal conditions to construct 4G-networks, as well as the deadlines of their implementation. The plan was drawn up involving the representatives of operators, ministries, public agencies and non-governmental organizations.
It is pointed out that the assignment of radio frequencies with LTE technology will be carried out at the auction to be held in the second half of 2017.
