UA TV may appear in the cable networks of Canada and Australia

The Ministry of Information Policy negotiates on the cable broadcasting of the Ukrainian TV channel in the two states.

Yuriy Stets, the Minister of Information Policy, and Roman Vashchuk, the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine, considered a possibility of the UA TV channel’s broadcasting in Canadian cable TV networks, as reported on the Ukrinform’s web site.
The Minister expects that the operation of foreign broadcasting TV channel of Ukraine in cable networks of Canada will be initially supported, as this country has the third largest number of ethnic Ukrainians.
Ukrinform also informs that Yuriy Stets agreed with Robert Douglas Trappett, the Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine, to provide the Australians with watching the channel UA TV in the cable networks of the country.
