The UK TV channel “Sony Turbo” is added to the list of TV channels, the content of which do not contradict the requirements of the European Convention, and the Russian “Shkolnik TV” is removed due to its termination.
As stated on the official web site of the National Broadcasting Council, the regulatory authority at the last meeting held on November 12 made changes to the List of foreign channels, the content of which met the requirements of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television and Ukrainian laws. So it was completed by the British “SonyTurbo”.
The request to add the UK channel to the list of adapted TV channels was submitted to the National Broadcasting Council by the company “Bitmediakom”. According to the monitoring results, the regulatory authority did not find in the TV channel’s airtime erotic programs, broadcasts with violence or movies prohibited to screen in Ukraine. The theme of “SonyTurbo” is entertaining movies and serials in English and Russian. The channel will broadcast for 24 hours in encoded form.
