Today, 1+1 Media plans for active development of its own library of content in SD and HD formats. Some 80% of the accumulated content is already available in HD, as Detector Media informs.
On evidence, 1+1 Media has already spent over USD 2 million on arranging its own library. The company is working hard on the content to meet the deadline and move to HD before 2020.
According to Yaroslav Pakholchuk, Director of Pay TV, the holding is about to launch several channels in HD format within 1+1 Media Distribution portfolio as late as by the end of this year.
Let us observe that the “Media Group Ukraine” announced the possible launch of the channel “Ukraina” in HD quality after encrypting the signal on the satellite.
