The Ukrainian Radio has obtained additional funding.

The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 2 million and 735 thousand to the NRCU, required for the full restoration of three radio stations of the Ukrainian Radio. As reported on the official web site of the National Broadcasting Council.
We shall recall that in early September, the NRCU was bound to suspend radio station’s MF, VHF and FM broadcasting due to the reduction of the company’s budget funding. The Channel One of the Ukrainian radio (UR-1) was available to listen to just in the regions and at a given time, and the broadcasts of the Channel Two (Radio Promin) and the Channel Three (Radio Culture) were available just in the capital.
At the request of listeners and the public authorities responsible for the integrity of the TV and Radio information space, the situation was resolved, and on September 24, it is scheduled to switch on all the public radio company’s transmitters.
