The founder and owner of the news aggregator informed about launching a new TV market player.
According to Firrma, the Roskomnadzor registered a new TV channel MediaMetrics.
German Klimenko, the founder and owner of the eponymous news aggregator and radio station, states that according to Russian law, to start its operation in pay-TV networks the TV channel has to obtain not only a media registration certificate, but also a broadcasting license. So the papers have been already filed now to get the second document.
We shall point out that initially based on the resource MediaMetrics it was run the radio station bearing the same name and with 24-hour broadcasting time containing programs on business, economy and information technology. According to Mr. Klimenko, the new TV channel will be of the same thematic areas.
The founder of the TV channel was the company “ECO PC Integrated Solutions”, and its sole owner is listed as Alevtina Jacobson.
The launch of the TV channel is scheduled for late this or early next year.
